El Paso-centric info and commentary from the Center of North America

State Rep. Marisa Marquez and political insider Carlos Aguilar have a conversation

That’s it. Both parties said they saw each other at the Pershing Inn last night and discussed politics a bit. Among the things they did not do (list courtesy of a little birdie): Go fishing; toast to Fidel Castro, George Bush and Barack Obama; toss a dwarf; do body shots; dance on the bar; or engage in a fist fight.

Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.

  1. I was going to the P.I. last night, but something came up. Wish that I would have, because I would tell you all what really happened!

  2. Well, if anybody sees Carlos walking around with sunglasses the size of God we could assume he went to the eye doctor to get his eyes dilated.

But forget that. This a job for…THE ETHICS COMMISSION. Captain Jose Rodriguez and his merry band of ethicists could investigate what happened. THE TRUTH IS OUT HERE, man.

  3. It seems that the county commissioners are going the way of city reps, Caballero-ites. Ring master Shaplieh is running the circus and the popcorn, cotton candy and the like is starting to get very expensive. Come on El Paso wake up these so called progressives are makeing us to have to make some hard decisions, food or rent or gas so we can drive to work…

  4. Who cares what Carlos Aguilar has to say about anything. If it wasn’t for him and his arrogance then Western Playland might still be at Ascarate Park. For those who remember the “Wild Wild West” Carlos has been declared the Megalito Lovelace of local politics.
