AP: Tiguas told to shut slots
From the Associated Press:
A federal judge says El Paso’s Tigua (TEE’-wah) tribe must shut down its gift-card awarding slot machines.
U.S. District Judge Harry Hudspeth ruled yesterday that the electronic and sweepstakes games at the tribe’s Speaking Rock Casino in east El Paso violate a 2001 court order that closed the once-lucrative casino.

Right now, El Paso is on the brink of major change, and it will be the advocates of the new generation that will promote innovations of the 21st century needed to provide a modern quality of life for our community.
