  1. An automated phone call from Franklin High (EPISD) to parents said that it was up to each teacher. Parents can write a note to excuse their child or the student can inform the teacher that they don’t wish to participate. Students being excused should go to the library during the 10 minute broadcast.

  3. Why all the anger citizen kane? You sound disturbed, have you tried getting help? I sure pity your kid. To have to put up with a father like you is as bad as that idiot from Las Cruces flying the American flag upside down and to top it off he has the German swastika on there too. And I don’t want to hear about your forefathers or the Constitution. A lot of graat Americans gave their lives to fight the swastika and what it stood for. My father fought in Italy during WW2 and I fought in Viet Nam and I regardless of who our President is, I respect him and what they are doing for us. The idiot from L.C. plans to leave the USA in a couple of years, why wait so long? Why not join him in his bid to seek a better country? God Bless You.

  4. ART, at first his speech was gonna push healthcare to the kids. then they changed it and made it a decent speech. my anger is the pure arrogance of them thinking they could do this through the kids. good spin on trying to compare me to that idiot in cruces, but im not him.
i let my kid watch the speech after they changed it.
it was a decent speach. you dont want to hear about my fore fathers, but its ok to mention that your father fought in ww2 and vietnam.
my father fought in ww2 also and in both arenas. after
he went through d-day and germany he was set on a boat back to to maine, railed to seattle, put on another boat to the philippines, and after we dropped the bomb was stationed in japan till 1947. so dont act like your the only person who is patriotic you arrogant ass. if you want to bring up fore fathers who fought against england in both the 1776 conflict and 1812, i can continue. dont care too, but i can.

  5. Citizen Kane I apologize to you, as I write this response to you, I have a smile after a light chuckle after reading your response calling me an “arrogant ass” I in no way suggested or tried to implied that no member of your family served in time of War. Sir I would like to thank your father and his family for the sacrafice and service he served with honor in Germany especially during D-Day. And the only reason I brought up fore fathers and Constitution Is that everybody wants to use the excuse of the rights of the Constitution we generaly take for granted. Or proudly mention how their forefathers fought and slaughtered the American Indians and stole their land.It was demonstrated tonight by yelling and calling the President of the United States of America a lier. That is not excercizing your Constitutional Rights. It was not right for that Iraqi newsman throwing his filthy shoes at President Bush in Iraq. That is very rude and Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.Car) showed no class at all. Thanks and God Bless P.S in the fore fathers and Constitution it is directed at the Gentleman from Las Cruces with his German Swastika.
