  1. Interesting to see what he stands for. Canutillo School District has received several recognitions and they built a huge High School. Time to get some new faces in County Courthouse… hope we don t get any of the current commissioners recycled to this job.All of them has proven to be very territorial and antagonistic…

  2. Get the campaign going, I sure do not want Veronica Escobar to get elected county judge, we all know she is positioning herself for that, everytime there is a tv camera she makes it a point to get in front of it. She has no substance has not done anything worth talking about as a comissioner.

  3. I don’t know much about Sergio Coronado except he’s an attorney and school trustee at Canutillo but we all know enough about Veronica Escobar to say that she’s smart and all that but she needs to have at least another term in her county commissioner position to be able to rack up some serious accomplishments. If she does run for county judge it’ll all be to satisfy her ego wanting to be the queen bee instead of sincerely serving her constituency. I’m disappointed knowing that she’s got a huge ego. Too bad I expected more from her.

  4. MR. CORONADO:
    1. RUNNING AGAIN?; WHAT IS YOUR AGENDA NOW?
    2. WILL YOU WORK TO CONSOLIDATE THE CITY AND COUNTY
    GOVERNMENTS?
    3. WILL YOU LET US “CITY FOLKS” KNOW HOW MUCH OF THE
“COUNTY” TAXES WE PAY ARE ACTUALLY SPENT “IN” THE
    CITY?

  5. I am excited to hear that Sergio Coronado is running! We need some new faces and I think he is the best choice this time. I hear great things coming out of Canutillo and the growth of its school district. I’m interested to see his platform. The County Judge should be a lawyer!

  6. Attorney Sergio Coronado is lazy. Of course he wants to be elected county judge. It’s the perfect job for anyone who wants to earn an easy pension without having to work for it. But ask yourselves: What has he done for the community? Do your homework before voting. Sergio Coronado has done nothing to earn my respect.

  8. I don’t know what JoAnn comments July 28 2009 and Not to crazy July 25 2009 comments what recognitions out of Canutillo ISD or the great things coming out of Canutillo they are talking about? Sergio Coronodo did not build the huge High School out of his pocket but of tax-payers monies. We are cleaning house or the old school board trustees and their cohorts. We have taken a new direction in the district of the ‘good old boy’s’ or families if you will concept. The President,Vice President, and Secrtary and new board member have made some major changes in the way the past board were running the district from nameing new school facilities after friends and relatives to wasteful spending on land aquisition and hiring administrators terminated from other districts under questionable circumstances.
