State Rep. Chávez leads Texas delegates on national health care push

EL PASO – State Rep. Norma Chávez will host a press conference on Wednesday, June 17th, in support of a national effort led by state legislators around the country to reinforce President Obama’s efforts to pass comprehensive health care reform, including the choice of a public health insurance option, this year.

July 4 Tea Party postponed; the new event is a 9/12 Tea Party

Grassroots El Paso keeps working it:

Due to the events scheduled around El Paso to celebrate the 4th of July, all of the Tea Party locations were unavailable! We have rescheduled the event and will be hosting a 9/12 Tea Party on September 12th in the Arts Festival Plaza Downtown. We are working on some great speakers for the event! Our event will coincide with the 9/12 Tea Parties that will be occurring nationwide. Please mark your calendars for the opportunity to stand united with fellow El Pasoans in support of conservative government.
