NPT Capitol: Whole delegation on board with ethics bill now

Today, state Reps Joe Pickett and Norma Chavez became the last members of the El Paso delegation to sign onto the newly revised ethics bill. If passed out of the House it will have to need to go to the Senate again, as the version that Shapleigh passed over there was the unamended version.

  1. I guess we should be happy that NOW Norma has signed on.

More people need to be asking who Norma was really trying to protect by being against the bill?

Norma must be really proud of herself… making a spectacle of herself AGAIN… and this time, putting the County commissioners against her.

So many people can’t stand this woman, I have no idea how she gets elected. It doesn’t seem like she’s doing any work. She totally failed on the gambling bill. Someone tell me what worth this woman even has… besides giving people a political “boxing match” to watch.

It’s too bad she has to resort to tearing people down to her level because she can’t make headlines through actual legislation she’s following.
