  1. Infomercial is a perfect title for this “first time” video news release. No one listens, the products are faulty, and you have to be almost tricked into buying them. Fits Rivera to a “T”.

  2. This remark is a perfect example of what gives El Paso a reputation for having small town mentality.

In a comospolitian city, people are sophisicated enough to accept another point of view without being completely ignorant.

I am sure that any candidate you support would distance themselves from you.

  3. Video Killed,
That’s the beauty of our campaign; its grass roots and its real. That is why I consider myself to be blessed to work for this campaign, because Carlos Rivera has chosen to associate himself with the people of this town. Other candidates can claim to know what young professionals in this town need, but I know that Carlos does because he spends time with us.
Is my video the most polished and professional work available in town? Not by a mile. I am not a professional advertising or pr agency (yet), but I am someone who is dedicated because i believe in my candidate and what he believes in, and that means doing whatever i can to get my man elected.
Say whatever you want about my video, but don’t attack a good man that has spent all of his adult life serving the country. From serving in Vietnam to retiring as a Diplomat from the U.S. International Boundary and Water Commission, i can say without a doubt that he has done more for our country than most ever do.
