  1. How many non-Catholics are part of EPISO? Will they allow candidates to answer more than just “yes or no”? Remember when EPISO started in the 80s and was so far left and was pushed very hard by then Bishop Flores that a major percentage of Catholics quit giving money weekly to their Church and the Bishop had to back off of his open support for this group. They do not represent the best interests of their community. They indoctrinate the low income Catholics to vote “their” way through intimidation and fear. I don’t see them represented in the wealthier Catholic parishes in El Paso – why is that?

  2. I hope you are wrong because the main purpose of a forum is to introduce the candidates to the public and help the public make an INFORMED choice. NOT set an agenda to vote a specific way, if that is the purpose then it should be cancelled.

  3. Rey: that is exactly how EPISO sets it up. A series of questions and they only allow “yes or no” answers. In recent years many candidates have not gone to the forums because they know it’s a trap. Then EPISO puts out negative press on the candidates that did not attend.

  4. You can build all the skyscapers, monorails, trolleys and call it a sign that EP is now a big city.

I got news for you, you will always be a small city until you stop this type of politics along with the underhandedness, vendettas and inability to recognize that politics is just that, politics.

Two lawyers go at it in court, when it’s over, they go have a drink. However I am beginning to think maybe, anywhere else but EP.
