City Rep. Acosta announces Alameda corridor meetings

For Immediate Release: Public Meeting on the Alameda Corridor
The City of El Paso is requesting your attendance for a series of public meetings hosted by the Development Services Department, Planning Division. The meetings will discuss a study of the Alameda corridor which extends from the intersection at Boone Street to the intersection at Americas Avenue. The public meetings will take place on the following dates and locations from 6-7 p.m.

City 4/10 Work Week Pilot Program Proves to Be a Success
August 27, 2009- On June 1, 2009 several City departments changed their operational hours to a 4/10 work week as part of a pilot program that was estimated to save the City over $55,000 over a three month period. The program has proven to be a success during the first two months.
