OH ONE LAST THING….all you retards truly believe it is pragmatic for a country to mandate auto insurance coverage yet HEALTH INSURANCE WE SHOULD ALLOW THE CONSUMER TO CHOOSE..crazy shit man! Auto insurance is more important to a country than their own health…wow..if that is the U.S. then count me out. That is not the country i love. The U.S. has morphed into a selfish, egocentric, imperialstic nation buidling country that i wish would wake up. Unfortunately TV, media, politics, religion, and pop culture has destroyed the moral fabric of the country i used to love pledging the allegiance to as a child.

Most of your opinions are hilarious! For the past 8 years that mono-syllabic buffoon was up in the white house passing 1,000pgs pieces of legislation that has compromised our civil liberties and exhibited a fiscal policy of a 4 year old with making a 10ft border wall that cost billions which went to private contractors and has destroyed the border towns. No but your right republicans are great! As for the Congressman and the president’s obective’s, SINCE THE REPUBLICANS DON”T HAVE CRAP TO SAY SHUT UP!! Its a broken system and the republican party is playing politics. Simple as that. Where you asleep the past 8 years where a vice-president DECLARED HE WAS NOT PART OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH???? For a recent college graduate student who just finished college and could never afford healthcare, you’all can take a back seat with your fancy private insurance premiums and shut it!!!

There are debates in Congress on the matter of regulating broadband service; this will negatively impact the constant innovations being done in health care through the help of the Internet.
The ways that high speed broadband networks are transforming our health care delivery system are not possible through any of form. Through telemedicine, broadband allows patients in rural areas of Texas to receive quality care from their home. We must make our congressman aware of this issue and urge him to vote against any bills of regulation.

To me here are the bullet point issues to me:

1. The excuses offered for not reading the bill are: a) it is full of legalese that only lawyers can understand (my rebuttal – are you not a LAWMAKER – why are these nameless lawyers writing laws I elected you to craft) b) Do you have any idea how many laws are passed? I can’t personally read everything. (my rebuttal – looking at the congressional vote record, about 80% of these “laws” are silly things like declaring national jalapeno day – fine skip those, but a bill of this magnitude that will have LONG TERM implications for the future of our country – READ THIS ONE)

2. I will not have a town hall meeting for people to gain their own platform. (My rebuttal – don’t have a town hall where you dominate – have one where you listen – we are the people you represent. The shouting takes place when you offer ill formed opinions versus facts about the bill)

3. There are 47 million people without health insurance in the country. Well, that is not the issue – how many are without health CARE. Finally the President has changed his message from Health CARE reform to Health INSURANCE reform. Reforming INSURANCE is critical – I am going broke, but let us not equate Health Insurance with health CARE.

4. “My staff will look into it and get back to you” – Sorry I did not vote for your staff. Given your 16(?) years in Congress and your chairmanship position – I would expect – no DEMAND that you personally demonstrate mastery of the issues.

I am another very disappointed cunstituent who feels very misrepresented! You say on your conference call, not a town hall face to face meeting, “this is an important issue to discuss, call my El Paso office or send me an email.” This is one more layer of insulation and dodging on your part. I HAVE CALLED your office, left messages, sent emails,for the last four months, and I am still waiting for my first response! Call my office is another way of saying “don’t bother me, my decision is already made.”

I can’t believe that the citizens of this country can’t seem to get the truth about health care. It is unbelievable that nobody talks about Health Care waste. Who is going to pay for this waste? About $1.2 trillion is spent on health care waste each year. That is about half of the $2.2 trillion of the money spent on health care each year. That is where we need health care reform, if we don’t lower that amount our insurance will continue to be expensive and maybe unaffordable. This country will continue have a problem of insuring the 47 million Americans until we have Health Care Reform.

Don’t you people understand, the Congressman can not
be bothered with such basics as questions about his
job. After all he has marching orders from Pelosi
and the rest of the Liberals in the Administration
to keep quiet and keep a low profile. The Liberals
are going to ram the healthcare through regardless.

This should be obvious to all, that the Democrats have marching orders not to get drawn into a town hall meetings to try and explain a plan that they don’t understand. They must not care what we think, they only want us to understand their going to try and push it through regardless. I would love to asked any member of Congress if they would (if the plan was passed) be willing to drop their gold plated health care plan that we pay for, and put their families on the new Government plan. aren’t we getting a little tried of the government deceit when we try to get straight answers on extremely important programs.
